Dr. Farooq , Omar pay tribute to Syed Muzaffar Aga
Srinagar, July, 21 : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday expressed profound grief over the passing of former Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Muzaffar Aga, paying rich tributes to his distinguished career in public service and his enduring contribution to the administration of the erstwhile State. In his condolence message, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said, “The passing of Syed Muzaffar Aga marks the end of an illustrious chapter in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. A civil servant of rare integrity and exceptional distinction, he served the people with unwavering dedication across different phases of our history, leaving behind a legacy of honesty, wisdom and public service that will continue to inspire generations. I pray that Almighty Allah grants him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and gives strength and patience to his bereaved family.” Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, while expressing deep sorrow over the veteran administrator’s demise, said, “Syed Muzaffar Aga Sahib belonged to a rare generation of public servants whose professionalism, integrity and institutional wisdom left a lasting imprint on the governance of Jammu and Kashmir. He served the people with distinction through periods of profound political and administrative transition, always upholding the highest standards of public duty.
