Dow Jones falls 400 points from highs but posts record close; Tech drags peers lower

While Nvidia kept the Dow Jones in the green on Wednesday, shares of Alphabet, AMD, and other chipmakers kept the gains in check and also put the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq under pressure.
