APL Team Barpeta Braves Names Aimee Baruah Ambassador

Actress Aimee Baruah has been appointed as the official brand ambassador of Barpeta Braves, one of the teams set to participate in the upcoming Assam Premier League (APL), an IPL-style tournament being introduced by the Assam Cricket Association ( ACA ). The Barpeta Braves franchise said it was “delighted” to welcome Aimee Baruah, describing her as one of Assam’s most loved and respected figures in the entertainment industry. Her association is expected to strengthen the team’s public outreach and inspire greater engagement among cricket fans. The franchise noted that her popularity and connection with the people reflect the spirit of the team. The Assam Premier League, being organised by the ACA, will feature a total of eight teams from across the state. Barpeta is among the districts represented in the tournament and will compete under the name “Barpeta Braves.” The team is owned by Pankaj Agarwala, who expressed confidence about the squad and its prospects in the league.
