‘Trauma of child being born in prison is unbearable’: Nashik court grants bail to Nida Khan

A special court in Nashik granted bail to five-month pregnant former TCS employee Nida Khan in a workplace harassment and alleged conversion case. Drawing a parallel with Lord Krishna’s birth in prison, the court said no woman or newborn should have to endure such trauma. It also found continued custody unnecessary after police completed the investigation and filed a chargesheet.
