Sikkim Tunnel Tragedy: 12 Bodies Recovered From Collapse Site; Search Operations Continue for Trapped Workers

The death toll from the NHPC tunnel collapse in Sikkim’s Namchi district has risen to 12, with around 15 individuals still missing. Multi-agency rescue operations, including the NDRF, SDRF, and local authorities, are ongoing. Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang pledged financial assistance for victims and announced an inquiry into the incident.
