#ହ ୀରାକୁଦରୁ_ମାଡ଼ି_ଆସୁଛି_ବନ୍ୟା_ପାଣି ହୀରାକୁଦ ଡ୍ୟାମରୁ ଭୟଙ୍କର ରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି ମାଡ଼ିଆସୁଛି ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ। ଏବେ ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ ମୋଟ୍ ୨୨ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି। ହୀରାକୁଦକୁ ଇନଫ୍ଲୋ ବଢୁଥିବାରୁ ଖୋଲାଯାଇଛି ଅଧିକ ଗେଟ୍। ଏନେଇ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଜଳ ସମ୍ପଦ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଦିଲ୍ଲୀପ ରାଉତ। ହୀରାକୁଦକୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଛି ୪ ଲକ୍ଷ ୧୫ ହଜାର ୧୭ କ୍ୟୁସେକ ଜଳ। ହୀରାକୁଦରୁ ଏବେ ୩ ଲକ୍ଷ ୮୯ ହଜାର କ୍ୟୁସେକ ଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସିତ ହେଉଛି। ୨୨ଟି ଗେଟରୁ ହୀରାକୁଦରୁ ଛଡ଼ାଯାଉଛି ପାଣି। ହୀରାକୁଦ ପାଣି ଆସିଲେ ଖଇରମାଳରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ସାଢ଼େ ୭ ଲକ୍ଷ ପାଣି ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେବ। Floodwater is surging downstream as Hirakud Dam has increased water discharge through 22 gates following a rise in reservoir inflow. According to Chief Engineer of the Water Resources Department, Dillip Kumar Rout, the reservoir is receiving 4,15,017 cusecs of water while 3,89,000 cusecs are currently being released.
