JPC members undertake ‘One Nation One Election’ study visit programme in Lucknow

The Joint Parliamentary Committee is studying the “One Nation, One Election” proposal in Lucknow. Officials and representatives are discussing the framework for simultaneous polls across India. Chairperson PP Chaudhary noted widespread support for the proposed governance reform. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Anil Desai confirmed his participation in these consultations. The committee will finalize its report by July seventeenth for parliamentary review.
